Vessel Serviços Navais

Vessel Monitoring

24/7 onboard watch against unauthorized craft approaching a berthed or anchored ship.

About this service

While berthed and, above all, at anchor, a ship is exposed to unauthorized small craft — launches, boats and canoes that come alongside to attempt theft, gain improper access on board or attach packages to the hull. Vessel provides onboard watch teams dedicated to observing, logging and reporting such approaches.

Our professionals cover continuous shifts, including night hours, with deck rounds, observation of the ship's side, anchor chains and mooring lines, and access control at the gangway. Every incident is logged and immediately reported to the duty officer.

The team works in support of the ship security officer and of port facility security, following the ship's security plan and the client's procedures — the client holds the plan and handles all formal dealings with the Port Authority, the Navy, the Federal Police and Customs.
